How to Enter Sims 4 Cheat Codes

To enter Cheat Codes in The Sims 4, you must first open the Cheat Console. The Cheat Console can be brought up by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+C on a PC or COMMAND+SHIFT+C on a Mac. Input the following text into the text input field that appears at the top of the screen. Typing help lists all available commands into the command console (this will only list cheats available to the players).

Cheat Codes / Console Commands
reset sim [first name] [last name]	Resets the specified Sim.
fullscreen	Toggles fullscreen mode on/off.
headlineeffects on	Toggles headline effects (plumbbob, thought bubbles, etc) Note: headlineeffects off turns it off
|Death.toggle	Disables death, so your Sims won't die.
FreeRealEstate on	While active, homes in the neighborhood / world are free. Note: FreeRealEstate off turns it off
rosebud	Gives players 1,000 Simoleons.
kaching	Gives players 1,000 Simoleons.
motherlode	Gives players 50,000 Simoleons
help	Shows basic commands

Aspirations and Skills

Players can make their Sim's dreams come true and complete various life-long goals by entering aspirations.complete_current_milestone.

It is also possible to improve (or degrade) a Sim's proficiency for certain skills:
stats.set_skill_level [skilltype] 1-10
Enter the above command into the console, then replace [skilltype] with one of the following ID's:

Testing Cheats

Testing cheats allow players to edit the attributes of Sims, items, textures and objects. To enable or disable Testing Cheats enter: 

• testingcheats true
• testingcheats false

Entering testingcheats true will open up editing options in-game for Sims, such as changing their age, motivations and goals and emotional states. Once testing cheats are enabled, players can also improve their Create-A-Sim experience by entering cas.fulleditmode into the command console. This will allow them to alter Sims in ways that are normally unavailable, including traits, styles and outfits. 

Interaction Cheats

Interaction Cheats are available by holding [Shift]  and clicking on objects and Sims once a player enable Testing Cheats. After Shift/clicking on an item or Sim, the following options will be available in the interaction wheel. 

Interaction Cheats: Sims
Reset Object	Resets the selected Sim.
Add to Family	Adds the selected Sim to the currently active family.
Cheat Motive > Make Happy	Sets all motives to full and changes current mood to happy.
Cheat Motive > Disable Motive Decay	Disables dynamic mood changes (if enabled).
Cheat Motive > Enable Motive Decay	Enables motives to change dynamically (if disabled).
Teleport Me Here (when a spot is selected)	[Shift] + click a spot on the map then type this cheat to teleport a Sim there.
Modify in CAS	Opens Sim in C-A-S editor
Interaction Cheats: Objects
Reset Object	Resets the object to default.
Make Dirty	Makes the object dirty.
Make Clean	Makes the object clean.
